Answer 5 out of 6 questions correctly.
Part of a DNA molecule
Deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, is a vital component of the cells of every living organism on Earth. This double- stranded molecule composed of nucleotide monomers is passed down from one generation to the next through reproduction, and it contains all of an organism's inherited genetic information.
Specific sections of DNA molecules, called genes, contain instructions for making a wide variety of proteins that determine traits and help the body function. The set of rules that define how information encoded in genes is used to create proteins is called the genetic code.
