Divide the total number of miles by the number the group can bike each day.

Now think about the remainder. The answer is either 4 or 5.

Multiply:

16 × 4 = 64

16 × 5 = 80

4 days (64 miles) is not enough. 5 days (80 miles) is correct. They will need 5 days to complete the tour.
