To solve for a variable, use inverse operations to undo the operations in the inequality. Be sure to do the same operation to both sides of the inequality and to reverse the direction of the inequality symbol when multiplying or dividing by a negative number.

When graphing an inequality, use a filled-in circle to include a number and an open circle to exclude it.
