Which point of view does the narrator use in the passage?
Here's how I see it: eighth grade is the end of the road for me. It's my last chance before high school to get a new reputationone that doesn't involve me puking turkey bacon in the gym. I wasn't expecting a miracle. I know my first day of eighth grade is bound to be cursed in some way, but I was hoping desperately hoping that it would be more good than bad.
