Last summer, Tommy went camping with his cousins in the wilderness. They stayed up late to watch the bright streaks of shooting stars crossing the sky. Tommy's aunt explained that they weren't actually stars, but rather meteoroids hitting the earth's atmosphere. The meteoroids were bits of dust and rocks from a comet's trail. Tommy hoped he could be an astronomer someday like Aunt Sophia.
