To put words in alphabetical order, use the alphabet.

First, put the words in order by their first letters.

If words share the first letter, then use the second letter to put them in order.

If words share the first and second letters, then use the third letter, and so on.

Look at the first letters of the words.

In alphabetical order, the first letters are b and o. So, words #1 and #2 will be the b words, and word #3 will be the o word.

Start with the b words. Look at the second letters of the b words.

In alphabetical order, the second letters are i and r. So, word #1 will be the bi- word, and word #2 will be the br- word.

Finally, work with the o words. The only o word is occupy, so that will be word #3.
