In the winter, some people worry that wild deer don't have enough to eat. To help, they may hang corn feeders from their trees. Deer love corn, but corn feeders really aren't a good idea. First, corn is not a healthy winter food for deer. Deer should mainly eat small twigs and tree branches in the winter. Another problem with corn feeders is that they can bring deer closer together. This makes it easier for them to spread illness to one another. It's best not to feed wild deer.
