The General Sherman Tree is the biggest tree in the world. It has grown to be about 250 feet tall over the last 2,500 years. General Sherman is taller than a twenty-five story building and wider than six cars. If put on a scale, General Sherman would weigh more than three hundred elephants! African elephants are larger than Asian elephants.
