The Queen and the Toad
A queen sits by a stream and reads. She hears a croak. She sees a green toad. He looks sad.
"Why are you sad?" asks the queen.
"I don't know how to read," says the toad.
"I can teach you," says the queen. The toad jumps for joy. The toad wants to thank the queen. But, how can he?
"I know! I can teach you how to croak!" says the toad.
"It's a deal!" says the queen.
Why is the toad sad?
He does not know how to croak.
He does not know how to read.
He does not know how to float.
