Slug and Frog

Frog and Slug sit on the path. Six chicks zip past them. "Pip! Pip!" the chicks quack.

The chicks run up the hill.

Slug asks, "Where are they going, Frog?"

Frog thinks. "There are snacks on the hill. The chicks want them," he says.

"I like snacks," says Slug. But Slug is not fast. The chicks will get it all!

Frog grins. "I can help," he says.

Slug gets on Frog's back. Then they hop up the hill. They are fast!

Raft

Chimp and Crab sit on the sand. "We must think of a plan. It is too hot here," says Crab.

"Let's make a raft!" says Chimp.

He gets six big sticks and bends them. Crab tugs at a clump of plants. She twists them with the sticks.

Crab and Chimp sit on the raft.

Crab puts cloth on top. "It will block the sun and help us go!" yells Crab.

Crab and Chimp cling to the raft. The wind picks up. They are off!

"Here we go!" says Chimp.
